Qualified digital certificate

If you have logged in the SI-PASS user pages with your qualified digital certificate, you will receive your activation code by mail to your permanent address.

1. Select “Receive an envelope”

2. Confirm the data that will become visible for the preparation of smsPASS: tax identification number, name and surname, address and date of birth by selecting “Confirm”.

3.  Re-confirm the data for the activation of smsPASS by selecting “Confirm”. This data is needed for the preparation of the activation code.

4. You will then receive a notification informing you that within a few days, you will receive your activation code needed in order to continue the process. By selecting “Back”, you will be redirected to your SI-PASS account.

5. You will be redirected to your user account.

6. You will receive the activation code to your permanent address.

7. You will receive a message with a link to continue smsPASS activation.

8. Open the message the email and select “click to continue smsPASS activation”. If you accidentally deleted the message, log in the SI-PASS user pages with your digital certificate.

9. Select “Complete smsPASS activation”

10. Enter the activation code you received by mail.

11. Enter your phone number to which you will receive your one-time password for smsPASS in the form of a text message (sms).

12. You will receive a text message with the smsPASS conformation code. Copy the code from the message.

13. In the completion process of smsPASS activation, you will be redirected to the login window. Enter the password of your SI-PASS account.

14. You will again receive by text message the smsPASS conformation code. Copy it from the message.

15. You have completed the smsPASS activation process. You will receive an email that the process was successfully completed.

16. You can now begin using smsPASS!

Visit to the SI-TRUST login service at an administration unit during the activation of smsPASS

If you have logged in using your username and password, in order to acquire your activation code, you will have to visit the SI-TRUST login service at an administration unit where they will verify your identity. You will have to provide a valid identity document with an image.

1. Select “Continue”

2. Enter the following data: tax identification number, name and surname, address and date of birth.

3. Select “Confirm” to confirm the data you have entered. The data is needed in order to prepare the activation code.

4. You will receive an email stating that you will need to visit the SI-TRUST login service – administration unit – in order to continue the process. The list of administration units with the official working hours is available on: http://www.upravneenote.gov.si/

5. An official at the SI-TURST login service will identify you and locate the request you submitted through SI-PASS.

6. After visiting the SI-TRUST login service, you will receive an activation code by email.

7. Using your username and password, log in again in the SI-PASS user pages

8. Select “Complete smsPASS activation”.

9. Enter the activation code you were sent by email.

10. Enter your phone number to which you will receive your onetime smsPASS password in the form of a text message (sms).

11. You will receive a conformation code smsPASS in the form of a text message. Copy the code from the message.

12. In the completion process of smsPASS activation you will be redirected to the login window. Enter the password of your SI-PASS account.

13. You will receive a text with a conformation code for smsPASS. Copy it from the message.

14. You have completed the activation process of smsPASS. You will receive an email stating that the activation process was successfully completed.

15. You can begin using smsPASS!
